On the 26th January Year 4 celebrated Australia Day!
We sculpted some Australian animals out of clay, we used pointillism to create Australian paintings. One group wrote a script, planned their costumes and props and filmed a report using the green screen equipment.
We had some competitions including, who could nibble a rich tea biscuit in the shape of the Australia. Mrs Willoughby, Mrs Moore and Mrs Holden judged them blind and they choose Kelly’s as the winning biscuit. We also made some koalas out of rice cakes and marshmallows, then enjoyed eating them after! We all had a really G’day!!
