Investing in Children, Investing in the Future!
The Peregrine Class took part in a Blue Tit & Curlew Workshop with Anna from Manx BirdLife. The children learnt about how the common blue tit lives in woodland and gardens and compared it to the 'red list' Curlew that lives on the coast in winter and on the moors in summer. Then they observed the bird's features and learnt about how each bird has adapted to their habitats. The photos show the children playing the curlew game where they had to catch worms in a bucket of sand using tweezers. The winning team caught the most worms in two minutes.
