Investing in Children, Investing in the Future!
The Puffin Class took part in “spooky science” for Hop tu Naa.
The Puffins enjoyed frozen zombie hands with toys frozen in them. The children thought about the best way to get the toys out and tried bashing and smashing, salt and warm water.
Next they made spooky play dough and measured the ingredients to practice measurements of volume.
After that, they made ghosts and skeletons fly! The children started by drawing on tissue paper. Then, they used a balloon to generate a charge by rubbing it on their heads. Using static electricity they made their ghosts and skeletons fly as far as possible. Some children made them fly from one side of the sports hall to the other!
