St Johns Village Litter Pick with Beach Buddies - Shearwater Class

A big thank you to Bill Dale and his team from Beach Buddies who once again supported our annual St Johns Village litter pick. In total 35 bags of litter were collected plus some larger objects such as a fridge and a TV that sadly had been fly tipped rather than taken to St Johns Civic Amenity Site. The Shearwaters discovered that a large amount of rubbish has been fly tipped behind the cricket pavilion on the village cricket field.

Young Noah in our Robin Class said, after seeing lots of plastic litter, "If this carries on, life will be destroyed". The Robin's also found a crisp packet from 2013!
