Anglo-Saxons Invade St Johns School
The Shearwaters have been busy over the last few months learning about the Anglo-Saxons. They have learned about the Sutton Hoo discovery, re-enacted traditional tales such as Beowulf, made their own harps/ musical instruments, carved their names using Runes, learned about clothing, food and warriors, heard Kennings/riddles and made their own, as well as having an Anglo-Saxon inspired feast!
