St Johns School celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight 2025 with a Fairtrade Tea Party and Fairtrade stall. Donated cakes baked with Fairtrade ingredients, some made by Eco-Club, were served with Fairtrade tea and coffee. Margaret Newton supplied the Fairtrade goods and produce for the stall. £193.20 was raised for the Fairtrade Foundation and associated charities.
Earlier the same day the children from Year 5 and 6 delivered an entertaining Fairtrade assembly with the title 'Brew it Fair'. Their parents were invited and Fairtrade tea and homemade cakes and biscuits were served afterwards.
