Farmers for Schools

The Peregrines had a visit from farmers from the MNFU as part of the Farmers for Schools scheme. Claire and Hilary Fletcher from Ballig Farm in Jurby gave us a fascinating talk about their work. We learnt how they care for their sheep and cows, what crops they grow to feed their animals, and how farming can be beneficial for nature. We would all like to thank the team for a very enjoyable afternoon.
