World Book Day Celebrations 2026

This year we celebrated World Book Day in slippers!

Activities included:

• a book exchange (where children brought a pre-loved book and exchanged if for a different one),
• Ready Steady Read - Mr Connelly rang the bell three times during the day to signal for everyone to stop what they are doing and pick up a book to read,
• Where’s Wally?- Wallies were hidden around school for children to find during the day,
• Story Time - teachers chose a favourite book and the children could choose which one to listen to,
• Online book event to promote the latest children's books.
