St Johns School Celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight with a Fairtrade Café and Stall

This year's Fairtrade events included Fairtrade Tuckshop with Fairtrade bananas and toast with Fairtrade jam or marmalade.

We invited everyone to bake cakes with some Fairtrade ingredients (such as sugar, cocoa or bananas) and donate them to our Fairtrade Café to raise funds for the Fairtrade Foundation. Eco Club and the Peregrine Class baked jam buns, banana buns and chocolate chip fairy cakes.

Once again Margaret Newton joined us at the Café with her Fairtrade stall, selling a wide range of Fairtrade products from around the world.

The Peregrine Class have been learning about Fairtrade as part of their Tropical Rainforest topic this term.
