Year 1 Nature Walk and Scavenger Hunt!
Year 1 learnt the names of many common trees found in the Isle of Man as they completed a tree hunt while they walked to Garey ny Cloie along the old railway line. The children enjoyed a snack and playing in and around the trees in the Garey ny Cloie gardens before heading to the woodland for a scavenger hunt and other nature challenges. Finally, a game of Pooh Sticks before heading back to school. A big thank you to Beth Penhallurick, the new Education Officer with Manx Wildlife Trust, who joined us for the morning.
