The RSPB Great Schools' Bird Watch 2024 with Manx BirdLife

Anna from Manx BirdLife delivered an assembly and during January and February visited our school regularly to help each class take part in the Great Schools' Bird Watch. Afterwards, the results were entered onto the RSPB website and we look forward to hearing the results later in the year.
The RSPB's Big Schools' Birdwatch is a citizen science project for schools across the UK. It takes place alongside the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch. It is a simple bird survey for pupils to take part in and enjoy together. This activity is about counting the number of birds in your school grounds over a period of one hour.
This is the first year that all classes took part.
