Eco-Club Plant Dwarf Fruit Trees

Volunteers from Eco-Club planted fruit trees in our Peter Rabbit Patch. A plum, two pear and two apple trees were purchased from Watsons Nursery in Greeba using some of the money we were awarded by Tesco. We chose dwarf varieties so that our children can pick them. The soil in our garden is absolutely solid and full of rocks and rubble so it was back breaking work for our team. A big thank you to Mrs Jones, Miss Haynes and Mr Connelly and the boys for all their hard work.
