St Johns School

Investing in Children, Investing in the Future!

The School Council is made up of two pupil representatives from each of the Years 2 to 6. The ILC, Reception and Year 1 have representatives from Key Stage 2 who attend meetings on their behalf and provide regular feedback.

They aim to:

  • represent all the pupils of the school;
  • work with the headteacher and teachers to support the aims of the school, making it a safe, happy, fair place where we can learn together;
  • promote an understanding of and involvement in the democratic process;
  • encourage pupils to make a positive contribution to the community;
  • support charity work.

Elections for class representatives are held during the Autumn term.
