Bilbos
Children earn points for good work, good manners etc. and these are exchanged for a ‘Bilbo’ when the required number is reached.
Credit Cards
Teachers reward individual children with a credit card for good behaviour, academic achievement or having a positive attitude towards learning. These are presented in assembly on a Friday and those children are entitled to 1 free tuck shop the following week.
Celebration Assembly
Certificates and Awards are given out during the Friday celebration assembly and children are invited to bring awards (certificates,medals, trophies) gained outside school to this assembly.
School Houses
Your child will be allocated a house team when they join St Johns School. The houses are:

School Houses form the teams for our sporting afternoon during the summer term.
Birthdays
Children may wear non-uniform on their birthday or on the Monday or Friday closest to their birthday if it falls at a weekend or in school holidays. Please do not send cakes or sweets for birthdays because we have children in school with allergies and medical conditions who cannot have these treats.
